Cold and darkness also exist!

It is widely accepted among scientists that cold and darkness do not exist in reality. But I don't think so.

The condition that arises due to the absence or lack of something also exists as a condition of deficiency. That is existent which is present or exists in the world. 

Cold and darkness also exist in the world. In whatever form they appear, however much current science may deny them, they exist.

'Truth' is that which exists. But lies also exist as lies. In fact, a lie is true as a lie. So lies also exist. Just as cold and dark exist as cold and dark.

Just as many things can be done with the help of light, so also with the help of darkness some things can be done which are not possible with light. Some things happen in the dark, which do not happen in the light.

Darkness can affect our body and mind, causing changes in body and mind activity. Organisms and plants require regular periods of darkness for their health and growth. Otherwise it becomes impossible for organisms and plants to live normally. That is, in this case there is the function of darkness. That which has function also exists.

We need light as well as darkness to survive. Just as heat is needed, so is cooling.

Darkness is not always the absence of light. A lack of perceptible light can also lead to a feeling of darkness. That is, we can feel darkness even when there is very little light. Again, after being in high light, darkness can be felt even if you suddenly come to low light. A similar sensation is felt in the case of cold or chills. So coldness and darkness are relative sensations.

There is some form of light and heat, though not visible or perceptible to us. So darkness means the presence of imperceptibly low light, and coolness means the presence of imperceptibly very low heat. In reality there is no such thing as total darkness (total lack of light) and total coldness (total lack of heat). From this point of view, they both exist in different forms or conditions.

ঠান্ডা ও অন্ধকারেরও অস্তিত্ব আছে

এটি বিজ্ঞানীদের মধ্যে ব্যাপকভাবে স্বীকৃত যে ঠান্ডা এবং অন্ধকারের কোনো অস্তিত্ব নেই। কিন্তু আমি তা মনে করি না।

কোন কিছুর অনুপস্থিতি বা অভাবের কারণে যে অবস্থার সৃষ্টি হয়, সেই অভাবজনিত অবস্থারও অস্তিত্ব আছে। তাই হলো অস্তিত্বশীল যা জগতে উপস্থিত আছে বা বিদ‍্যমান আছে। 

ঠান্ডা ও অন্ধকার এগুলি যেভাবেই হোক, বাস্তবে বিদ্যমান আছে। এরা যে আকারে বা প্রকারেই থাকুক না কেন, বর্তমান বিজ্ঞান এদেরকে যতই অস্বীকার করুক না কেন, এরাও অস্তিত্বশীল। 

'সত্য' হলো তা-ই যার অস্তিত্ব আছে। কিন্তু মিথ্যারও অস্তিত্ব আছে মিথ্যা রূপে। আসলে, কোন মিথ্যা সে তো মিথ্যা রূপে সত্য। তাই মিথ‍্যারও অস্তিত্ব আছে। ঠিক সেইভাবে ঠান্ডা ও অন্ধকারের অস্তিত্ব আছে ঠান্ডা ও অন্ধকার রূপে। 

আলোর সাহায্যে যেমন অনেক কাজ করা যায়, অন্ধকারের সাহায্যেও কিছু কিছু কাজ করা সম্ভব, যে কাজগুলো আলোর মাধ্যমে সম্ভব নয়। অন্ধকারে কিছু ঘটনা ঘটে থাকে, যা আলোতে ঘটনা। 

অন্ধকার আমাদের শরীর ও মনকে প্রভাবিত ক'রে শরীর ও মনের কার্যকলাপে পরিবর্তন আনতে পারে। জীব ও উদ্ভিদের সুস্থতা ও বৃদ্ধির জন্য নিয়মিতভাবে একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় অন্তর অন্ধকার প্রয়োজন হয়। এর অন‍্যথা হলেই জীব ও উদ্ভিদের পক্ষে স্বাভাবিক ভাবে জীবন ধারণ করা অসম্ভব হয়ে ওঠে। অর্থাৎ এক্ষেত্রে অন্ধকারের কার্যকারিতা রয়েছে। যার কার্যকারিতা আছে তার অস্তিত্বও আছে। 

আমাদের বেঁচে থাকার জন্য আলো যেমন প্রয়োজন তেমনি অন্ধকারও প্রয়োজন। তাপ যেমন প্রয়োজন তেমনি শীতলতা প্রয়োজন। 

অন্ধকার সব সময় আলোর অনুপস্থিতি নয়। উপলব্ধি যোগ্য আলোর অভাবেও অন্ধকার বোধ হতে পারে। অর্থাৎ খুব কম পরিমাণে আলো থাকলেও আমরা অন্ধকার বোধ করতে পারি। আবার বেশি আলোর মধ্যে থাকার পরে হঠাৎ কম আলোতে এসে পড়লেও অন্ধকার অনুভূত হতে পারে। ঠান্ডা বা শীতলতার ক্ষেত্রেও অনুরূপ অনুভূত হয়। তাই শীতলতা ও অন্ধকার এগুলি আপেক্ষিক অনুভূতির বিষয়। আমাদের দৃষ্টিযোগ্য বা অনুভবযোগ্য না হলেও সেখানে কিছু না কিছু আলো ও তাপ থাকে। তাই অন্ধকার মানে  অননুভবযোগ্য স্বল্প আলোর উপস্থিতি, আর শীতলতা মানে অননুভবযোগ্য খুব কম তাপের উপস্থিতি বোঝায়। বাস্তবে সম্পূর্ণ অন্ধকার (আলোর পুরোপুরি অভাব) এবং সম্পূর্ণ শীতলতা (তাপের পুরোপুরি অভাব) বলে কিছু নেই। এদিক থেকে দেখলেও এরা ভিন্ন ভিন্ন রূপে বা অবস্থায় উভয়ই অস্তিত্বশীল।
